Member-led organizations are often seen as more democratic and responsive to their communities. They foster a sense of ownership and collective responsibility, which can lead to stronger advocacy, better services, and more sustainable impact.
We are rebuilding Hernando United School Workers, Local 4730, with intention and are inviting every employee in the Blue Collar and White Collar bargaining units to get involved. Through shared decision-making, collaborative planning structures, and distributed leadership we are making HUSW a more representative and more effective voice for all of us!
